"Very good for bird watching We took our two daughters 12 and 15 on a early morning lagoon safari for 2 hours. Price is reasonable, 4500/-. The tour is on a rowing boat. You have to sit on the floor and they provide you with life jackets. My husband has a chronic back pain, but, he came out ok after sitting on the floor with stretched legs for 2 hours. The discomforts of the basic facility is well worth the experience. We saw crocodiles, so many varieties of birds including endangered, unique to the area and also migratory. Top it up, we saw the wild elephants coming out of the near by jungle. The boat will take you though the lagoon full of mangroves and water lilies. It's a fantastic experience. You need to go early in the morning to see the wild life and to avoid the harsh sun. They even recommend the evenings."

"We visited Sri Lanka in January 4th and I contacted Ansa to give my kids (8,10,13) a surf lesson. They loved it so much they had a lesson every day of our six days in Arugam Bay. Ansa was kind, patient, fun and a great teacher. In fact the surfing was so great we return to Sr Lanka April in to surf again. mainly took us to Elephants Rock and Panama beaches which were just lovely and not too busy so it was safe in the water. Ansa really is a lovely guy and a great surf instructor, very safety conscious and totally brilliant with the kids. Would highly recommend..also they arranged Kumana National Park Safari, Lagoon Safari and taxi to Airport"
