The Kumana safari was unreal! We spotted elephants, a leopard, and dozens of exotic birds. Our guide Ramesh knew every animal’s hiding spot. Worth every penny.

Kudumbigala Monastery took my breath away. Our guide shared stories about the skeleton guardian that gave me chills. Lunch at the village was the best meal of our trip!

Really professional safari operator in Arugam Bay. I did a full day safari in Kumana with our guide Ans and it was wonderful. We were lucky enough to see a leopard, elephants and many amazing birds. Ans was able to spot many animals hiding in the trees like owls and monitor lizards which made the experience extra special. Lunch and breakfast was homemade and delicious, and we enjoyed eating in the middle of the park. The whole experience was fantastic and I highly recommend choosing Budget Arugambay Tours & Safari.

I liked everything. I was planning to stay 9 days, I stayed 14. I would like to stay longer, but I had my plane tickets... High quality service, super friendly all staff, you feel like a friend, not just like a tourist. Manager Ansar and Fainas are super nice, always friendly guys. You can get everything you want: to go to surf in the morning, in the evening, you can choose surf point you want - no any problems. You want some additional fruits, another surfing board, change money, rent scooter, surfing instructor and etc. - here you are, with a nice smiling and super friendly. You get 300% more then you pay. Money can't buy good feeling what you get in Star Rest Beach Hotel. I’ve been travelling really a lot, from USA to Japan and etc., but this place made very good impression that I never had before. Highly recommended place to stay in Arugam Bay, Sri Lanka. I definitely will come back to Star Rest Beach Hotel again, that is for sure.

We did the Pottuvil Lagoon and Kumana National Park Safari. Both were an amazing experience. The drivers on both trips were lovely people and Abdull, who took us through the park, was very knowledgeable and knew the park well. Compared to another safari I did in Sri Lanka, this one was much better and also better value for money. I highly recommend this business.

We made the Lagoon Safari in Pottuvil and it was simply awesome. Shiham was our guide and he did an amazing job. He told us so much about the lagoon, the wildlife and other things about the area.
